Robert Lineham Wallace (1912-2001) wrote many articles and books on the South African War, 1899-1902, including 'The Australians at the Boer War : the story of the Australians who served in the South African War 1899 to 1902', published in 1976 and 'The circumstances surrounding the Siege of Elands River Post : a Boer War study', published 1992.
