    At the age of 13 Fred Wymark joined Angus & Robertson as an assistant to the founder David Angus (ca.1885). He remained with the firm all his working life, becoming a part owner and director.
    David Scott Mitchell (1836-1907) was a distinguished book collector and the founder of the Mitchell Library.
    H.C.L. Anderson was Principal Librarian of the Public (now State) Library of NSW from 1893 to 1906. W.H. Ifould was Principal Librarian from 1912 to 1942.
