    Roger Hollinrake, English organist, sat for the L.R.S.M. Performer's Certificate in Organ whilst still a schoolboy in New Zealand (aged seventeen). His examiner was Edgar Bainton (1880-1956), who was Director of the NSW State Conservatorium of Music from 1934 to 1946. In 1947, Hollinrake became an Organ Scholar at Cambridge University.
  • Scope and Content
    2 Aug. 1946; Examination report for the Performer's Certificate in Organ for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London (L.R.S.M.). The examiner was Edgar Bainton, although the report is unsigned. The examination took place in the Chapel at King's College, Middlemore, near Auckland, New Zealand. A colour photograph showing the interior of the Chapel is included.
