  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    The Scottish born Congregation minister, Robert Ross, was director of the London Missionary Society from 1837 to 1838. In 1840 Ross arrived in Sydney to the position of minister of the Pitt Street Congregational Church and continued to be involved in missionary activities and religious societies. -- Reference: Australian Dictionary of Biography.
