  • General note

    The drawings in this album have been renumbered.
    Some sketches have an additional drawing on the reverse and have been numbered a & b accordingly.
    Many drawings have a pencil dedication on the reverse.
    No.29 is titled from original album page mount attached to reverse of Mitchell Library's housing. Although Mr A. Wilkinson stated that the drawing was by Mary Stephen, the style is similar to S.T. Gill. The pencil inscriptions comprising tile and key to landmarks appears to be in George M. Stephen's handwriting.
    No.37 has a sketch of a woman's head on the reverse that cannot be seen due to the invitation being fixed to the mount.
