The Folk Federation of New South Wales was formed in 1970 with the aim of presenting, supporting and encouraging the perfomance of folk music, folk song folk dance and spoken word by providing an opportunity for artists, audience, groups, clubs and festivals to get together. In furtherance of this aim the Federation publishes a magazine called Cornstalk Gazette.
