  With the exception of the blank background, this medallion is similar to [Sydney Cove medallion, 1789 / by Josiah Wedgwood]. See Mitchell Library collection, P*66, P*67, P*68, PM132, PM133.
  Undated but made after 1789.
  On the reverse of the medallion is a handwritten note by Harry Barnard, composed in 1915, that provides contextual information on the original medallions.
