    Set was given to donor following Patrick White's death by Manoly Lascaris who distributed items to friends and family (information from file)
  • Scope and Content
    The set is a children's single service cutlery set, inscribed with Patrick White's birth date, 28 May 1912.
    Each piece is Sterling silver with hallmarks: crown, lion passant, letter 't', and maker's mark 'H.BRS'. It was made by Hardy Brothers Ltd, Sheffield, 1911.

    The set is inscribed: 'P. V. M. W' on spoon, knife and fork, and 'P. V. M. W. 28.5.12' on napkin ring.
