In 1845 George Henry Cox became manager of his father's land grant at Burrundulla, Mudgee. He completed the building of Burrundulla homestead in 1864. - Scope and ContentAs well as Burrundulla these notes deal with the wider Mudgee district and cover topics such as early exploration, the Cox family, discovery of gold, early settlers, Aboriginal people, bushrangers, sheep and wool, municipal government, the pastoral & agricultural associaition, churches, the hospital, post office, banks, horse racing and cricket. Four colour photographs of Burrundulla (1964) are also included.
