The Society of Australian Genealogists Joint Copy Project is a cooperative project which aims to microfilm church registers of birth, deaths and marriages. The Society's partners in the project are the State Library of New South Wales and the National Library of Australia.

Copyright restrictions may apply: SAG microfilms are provided for information and research purposes only. Frames from SAG reels may be copied for research and study purposes.

A card index to the microfilms is available in the Mitchell Library Reading Room. The card index lists the various registers alphabetically, both by the name of the church and by location.
