Sydney : Angus and Robertson, 1954. - Scope and ContentThe subject of this portrait stands beside a dressing table with a mirror. She is dressed in a white broderie anglaise dress that has a pink sash at the waist and pink ribbons at the shoulders, and wears black satin shoes with overties and squared toes. Underneath the dress is a crinoline (petticoat) and pink slip.
