  • General note

    Previously titled from a label affixed to old mount, ""Panning for Gold"". A pencil inscription was found on the reverse of the drawing in May 2004 during conservation treatment by SLNSW Preservation Branch. Although the handwritting has not been verified as S.T. Gill's it is believed to be in a near contemporary hand.
