Dr Bill Coppell (1924-) was Deputy Director and Acting Director of Education, with the Government of the Cook Islands during the period 1962 to 1967

The collection consists of a number of 'odd' pages and five folders. The contents have been microfilmed in their original order, roughly by subject and not always chronologically correct. Subjects covered include: the introduction of a School Saving Society or Co-operative Society; proposed re-organisation and education plans; teacher training; introduction of new courses; scholarship pupils; staffing and salaries; the supply of milk to school children; equipment, buildings etc.; statistics (attendence, admissions, withdrawals, births, population movement, etc.) and financial documents
