  When these letters were written, Sir William Denison was Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over New South Wales. Stuart Alexander Donaldson was Premier of NSW in the first ministry under Responsible Government

  6 June 1856 - 1 Sept. 1857; Ms. letters sent to Donaldson from Denison. Bound with printed title page and printed abstract of contents. The letters are on various topics including government employees, education, railways and public works, revenue, and lighthouse commissioners. (Call No.: B 205: Issue microfilm copy at CY 1648)
