  • General note

    This volume was rebound in August 1932.
    Transferred from the manuscripts' location A 1759.
    No. 6 has a pencil inscription, "Sketch by Frederick Scott" in an unknown hand.
    No. 11a has a non-contemporaneous inscription in black ink that identifies the subject and artist of the portrait, "Sketch of Capt. D.C.F. Scott / (Uncle to Mr D.S. Mitchell) / By Miss Ironside".
    No. 12 is sketched on the reverse of a dinner invitation to Sir George and Lady Gipps, addressed to Major Barney.
