A Magnificent spectacle caption -- Fred Leslie was a dancer and choreographer in musical comedy for J. C. Williamsons between 1901 and 1914 before returning to England. One of Leslies most memorable roles was dancing opposite his partner Ivy Schilling on a huge net in the Spider-web dance, a feature of the revue Come Over Here. A man of many talents, Leslie trained the Pony Ballet in J. C. Williamsons 1909 production of Jack & Jill.
