  • General note

The material in this volume appears to be an artificial series being derived from various sources (only the first plays bears D.S. Mitchell's initials) and does not have any imposed order.
Each play, prompt book, and notes are written in a different hand and on various sized paper.
On a paper inserted at the front the opera titled "Cinderella ..." is a handwritten note, "Cinderella / Act 1 / R.V.T. / Sydney"
The prompt books titled "A Slice of Luck", are based on the short farce of the same title written by John M. Morton. It was performed at the Theatre Royal, New Adelphi, in 1867.

    "D.S.M" initials appear on p.i
