    1. William Marsden collection. Includes: vocabularies of the languages of Tonga, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Prince's Island, Sulu, Samarang, New Holland, New Zealand, Savu, Madagasca, Malabar and Peru. Also includes 18th century Malay and Sumatran manuscripts and notebooks of William Dawes re languages spoken in the Sydney area ca. 1790.
