MAV/FM4/1398-1422: Correspondence arranged by the following areas: Australia 1812-89, Tasmania 1823-76, New Zealand 1819-82, Friendly Islands 1822-75, Samoa 1834-70, New Britain (two letters only) 1878-81. (Incoming letters from Fiji are to be found on MAV/FM4/3043-3046). Enclosures with correspondence often include printed matter, for instance Reel MAV/FM4/1421 includes copies of Tongan Government Gazettes of 1880. Outward correspondence, 1814-67. Some outgoing correspondence 1814-19 is to be found on reel MAV/FM4/1392, as well as on MAV/FM4/1423. MAV/FM4/1423-1425: Correspondence Out 1814-54.
