  • Scope and Content
    Thirty-six page printed item by Sir Everard Home, London 1922. The address gives a detailed account of the life and works of Sir Joseph Banks, including anecdotes relating to voyages of discovery and to the origin of Banks's interest in natural history. A page of typescript notes "collected in conversation with Sir Everard Home", 10 October 1825, identifies certain events and people referred to in the oration.
