  • Scope and Content
    This series consists of the files relating to the five-part ABC Radio National series Nazis in Australia broadcast on Background Briefing in April and May 1986. It includes the files relating to the Hawke Governments inquiry into the claims made by those programs and conducted by former senior Attorney Generals Department official, Andrew Menzies. Among those papers are the full series of submissions made to Menzies, including the original intelligence and diplomatic records on which the claims made in the programs were based, as well as the computerised summaries that were made of the files in preparation for the production of the series. The following list was prepared by Mark Aarons in 2003.
