    Objects - 1 tobacco pipe, in two pieces. The wooden cylindrical shaped bowl is roughly carved with a curved base, large hole at top for inserting tobacca, and hole at one side for inserting stem. The stem is made from carved wood with tapered end to insert in bowl and lighter coloured wood at mouth piece. The bowl is split from hole to base. - L 12.9 x Max Diam. 1.2 cm. (stem) - H 5 cm x Max Diam. 3.3 cm (bowl)
  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Roderic Quinn (1869-1949) was born in Sydney of Irish parents. He became a freelance journalist and writer, producing poetry, short stories and novels.
