    Marta Sybaczynsky was a representative of the Ukrainian Council of NSW. Between 1972-2005, she corresponded with Australian Universities, ministers from the Department of Education and Board of Senior Studies, requesting the introduction of Ukrainian language into the NSW tertiary and secondary education system.

    The Ukrainian Council of NSW is a non-profit organisation, with an internal constitution. Its role is coordinate activities, provide guidance in multi-cultural involvement, encourage participation in general public life, support cultural and educational involvement, maintain contact with Ukrainian communities in NSW, support Ukrainian Church activities and organize celebrations and festivities.

    Ukrainian Council of NSW correspondence mainly between Marta Sybaczynskyi, the Board of Studies, Australian Universities and Education Departments, 1972-1979, concerning the Activity Committee. In English

    Ukrainian Folkloric Committee, 1990-1996, mainly correspondence with the National Museum of Australia relating to its role and mobile exhibits as an indication of Ukrainian culture, and its donation of Ukrainian arts and crafts. In Ukrainian and English.
