Several drawings are titled, with the remainder designated by cataloguer.

The watercolours were removed from the volume at an unknown date and the original order has not been strictly maintained.

Only a few of the drawings are titled and some of the inscriptions are difficult to read.

Nos. 4 and 14 have a pencil attribution to Charles Rodius however it is doubtful that he is the artist of these drawings -Manager of Original Materials, Mitchell Library, Oct. 2003.
No. 18 is by H. Taylor, Kempsey, 1873
No. 20 'in Sydney Harbour' is by W. Bennett
Nos. 25, 31, and 32 have a sketch on the reverse.
No. 32b has various notes relating to cloud study.
No. 34 bears title, 'In Twofold Bay - Mewstone in distance' and is possibly by Oswald Brierly.
