    This sketch is similar to one by J. C. White of the first Coal Staith of the Australian Agricultural Company, showing the 'Sophia Jane' and the Company's cutter 'Lambton' taking coal in 1833. Watercolour sold by Deutscher Fine Art in 1980. Another version reproduced in 'Coal Mining in Newcastle, 1801-1900' / by J. W. Turner (1982).
