• ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY
  
  Union formed in 1873 and joined the Amalgamated Metal Workers Union in 1972.
• Scope and Content
  Features a kneeling figure in the centre surrounded by scroll work and floral decoration, largely of flannel flowers and waratahs, and images such as a NSWGR 34 class steam locomotive and tender, the Hawkesbury River rail bridge, and a furnace.
  Reverse shows the warship "Australia" at sea.

  Dated from the years the battlecruiser 'Australia' was in operation. Comparison was made with photographs reproduced in Australian & New Zealand Warships 1914-1945 / Ross Gillett. Sydney : Doubleday, 1983.
