The sketches in the album are attributed to George Hamilton as the inside cover is inscribed "G. Hamilton" (though this appears to be a later hand), some drawings are initialled "G.H.", and some of the sketches are stylistically similar to works that are known by George Hamilton -- Manager, Original Materials Branch, Jul. 2003
The sketchbook is reversible, as it has been used from the front and back.
Many sketches are unfinished.
Some pages are blank.
