Captain Robert Webster was the second Governor of Darlinghurst Gaol. He held the position from 1850 to 1855 - Scope and ContentBirth certificates of A.M.S.W. Jones, later Mrs. Robert Webster, 1814, and R.E. Webster, 1847, Mauritius, with baptismal certificate of a child of R. Webster and his wife. Marriage certificate of R. Webster and A.M.S.W. Jones, 30th May 1837, Mauritius. Commission of R. Webster as Lieutenant, 99th Regiment, 14th December 1832 - Signed February 1833.
