William Lawson (1774-1850) received a grant of 500 acres of land at Kurrajong in 1810. The property was conveyed to his son Nelson Simmonds Lawson in 1839 and on the latter's death in 1849 to his eldest son Nelson Lawson - Scope and Content1 box of textual material

Maitland, and a grant to June Hobson, 1823, at Kurrajong; with agreements between N.S. Lawson, Nelson Lawson and John and James Lamrock re property. Also papers 1865-1884, including surveyor's certificate re Lawson's grant and application by William Lamrock to purchase land at Kurrajong. Mosman 1907-1909.
