Rev. George Brown, 1835-1917, Methodist missionary, had 6 surviving children, one son being G. H. Brown. Dr. Roger F. C. Brown, scientist, Dr Richard J. C. Brown, scientist, and Michael C. Brown, artist, are his grandsons. William Butler, sculptor, was an ancestor of Mrs Ruth C. A. Brown
