J. K. S. Houison, 1900-1968, was a chartered accountant with an interest in Australian history. He lived all his life in Parramatta, N.S.W. and became an authority on the history of the area. He was a fellow of the Royal Australian Historical Society.

Mainly research notes but includes also some papers of G. A. King, a friend of Houison and an historian, who worked for the Sydney Morning Herald. Includes manuscript of G. A. King's 'The New South Wales Military Forces 1788-1903' with associated material. Also included is a rough minute book for the Bulli Colliery Disaster Relief Committee, 1887
