A. A. Turner was a member of an expedition headed by E. B. C. Kennedy to explore the river discovered and named Victoria by Sir Thomas Mitchell in 1846. Kennedy used Barcoo, the Aboriginal name for the river - Scope and ContentDescribes daily progress of the expedition commencing from Parramatta, N.S.W. 13 March 1847 and returning to Sydney 7 February 1848. Include comments on other members of the expedition, E. B. C. Kennedy, Thomas Wall, Clint Niblet, John Douglas, William Welsh, William Castigan and James Luff
