  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Sir Frederick Darley, 1830-1910, born in Dublin, arrived in Sydney in 1862 and was admitted to the New South Wales Bar in that year. A member of the Legislative Council from 1868-1886, he became Chief Justice in 1886. He was knighted in 1887 and became a Privy Councillor in 1905
