    Rev. Harry Scott, 1858-1937, served as a missionary on Murray Island, Torres Strait, from Dec. 1883 to May 1886, for the London Missionary Society. He visited Brisbane and Sydney, on his way to New Zealand, where he served before returning to England in 1887

    'Portfolio of "My dear everybody" letters - in diary form - written from the New Guinea Mission, Murray Island', 1883-1887, compiled in 14 parts by the Rev. Harry Scott, 1935-1936. Describes life on Murray Island and missionary activities, and are illustrated by sketches. In 1935-1936, Scott collected letters from June 1884, added photographs and newscuttings and provided prefatory notes and detailed contents lists
