Rev. Peter MacPherson (1826-1886) apparently returned to Australia from studying in England, in 1857. He was the Free Church minister of Meredith and Lethbridge, Victoria, 1858-ca. 1875 and Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Eastern Australia, at Maitland, 1876-1878.
