    a. 1914-15 Star (4 pointed) with red, white & blue ribbon. Obverse: centre scroll reads `1914-1915' surrounded by laural wreath & crown. Reverse: `79 / Pte. G. Blackmore / 6/L.H.RGT. A.I.F.'
    b. British War medal 1914-1918. Obverse: effigy of King George V surrounded by the legend `Georgivs V: Britt: Omn: Rex et Ind: Imp'. Reverse: the dates `1914.1918' and male figure [St. George] on horseback.
    c. Victory Medal. Obverse: winged female figure symbolising victory. Reverse: inscription reads `The great war for civilisation 1914-1919'
