P. A. Willmott migrated to New South Wales in 1853, settled first in Sydney, then operated a store at the diggings near Maitland, next a store and property, Burrundulla at Mudgee from 1859 to 1865 and finally a store and property, Booloola at Coonamble from 1865 until the 1880's

Mainly correspondence in particular of P. A. Willmott with his mother and family in England describing his living conditions and business ventures in New South Wales
