    Edward Haslingden, 1810-1886, came to Sydney 1832, engaged in business with John Lord and Co. 1843. He took up a property in the Monaro district, moving in 1857 to the Bega district. His sister, Mary Ann, joined him in 1838

    1a. 'Copy of a Narrative of Edward Haslingden's voyage on Board the Mail (Brig) Capt. Rowell, to Van Diemens land and New South Wales', 4 July - 31 Dec. 1832.
    1b Extract 1835 from the Register Book of St Phillip's Church, Sydney certifying the marriage of Edward Haslington and Anne Turner on the 11th August 1834'.

    2. Letter from her sister-in-law, Mrs Anne Haslingden, 17 Aug. 1836 re her coming voyage to New South Wales.
    3. Journal of her voyage to Sydney 1837-1838. Journal 20 Sep. 1837 - 20 Jan. 1838 with loose page, evidently for 20-21 Jan. 1838 added. MS copy of the above in M. A. Haslingden's hand, 20 Sep. - 24 Nov. 1837.
