Jonathan Warner was a Lieutenant in N.S.W. veteran Corps from 1825 to 1831, when he became a settler. He was Visiting Police Magistrate at Brisbane Water 1833-1836. His son married Emily, daughter of C. F. H. Smith, who came to Australia in 1834 and was granted land in the Hunter River District. His daughter Emma married Edward Fletcher, grandfather of E. R.
