    James Kight Fry emigrated with his family from England to New Zealand 1861 and in 1864 moved with them to Victoria. His son James Arthur Barrett Fry, 1850-19--, was the father of Alan Fraser, Dene B. and Dorothy Fry. In World War I A.F. and D.B. Fry served with the Australian Imperial Forces. They died in France in 1916 and 1917 respectively, A.F. Fry having previously served in Egypt and D.B. Fry on hospital ships. Dorothy Fry worked in the Djakarta office of a British company 1919-1923
