    Elizabeth Macarthur was the granddaughter of John Macarthur. After the death of her husband Capt. Arthur Onslow, she adopted by Royal Letters Patent the name Macarthur in addition to her married name, founding the Macarthur-Onslow family
  • Scope and Content
    The papers relate mainly to her personal estate and that of several of her children. They include estate papers 1903-1947 of Elizabeth, Arthur and Rose Macarthur-Onslow, and wills; papers re Francis Arthur Macarthur-Onslow, re Sir George Macleay's trust, powers of attorney and will of George Macleay Macarthur-Onslow 1914. Papers re business interests -Centennial Investments Co. 1887-1897 and Farmers' and Settlers' Co-operative Society Ltd. 1908
