    John Blaxland was the eldest son of Gregory Blaxland, the explorer. In 1845 he married Ellen Falkner and they had six sons and three daughters, two of the latter dying in infancy

    These papers include early deeds of land at Eastern Farms, documents re the marriage settlement and the probate of the wills of Gregory and John Blaxland.
