    The Convention met in Adelaide from March to May 1897, in Sydney in September, and in Melbourne from January to March 1898. It was an elected body formed to consider the drafting of a Federal Constitution. The records appear to have been kept in the custody of the Clerk of the Convention, E.G. Blackmore
