    Richard Atkins left England on 20 June 1791 and arrived at Sydney on 13 Feb. 1792 on the Pitt. He held positions as Registrar of the Vice-Admiralty Court, Inspector of Public Works, Deputy Judge Advocate and Judge Advocate and Registrar of Imports and Exports. In 1810 he left Sydney and returned to England
  • Scope and Content
    Consists mainly of accounts of events in Sydney, 1792-1796, referring to convicts and prices, etc., and including poems and notes on various topics.
