    1. Palace of Governor General of Netherlands India at Buitenzorg in Java, 39 miles from Batavia; this is in the midst of famous Botanical Gardens. Victoria Regia in the Lake.
    2. View of ravine at foot of Pangerango & Gedeh with covered bridge and road across near Sindang Laya in Java about 65 miles from Batavia.
    3. Upper portion of road in preceding photo, nearer Sindang Laya. The Sindang Laya Sanitorium in middle background among the trees.
