  • General note

    These photographs are part of Charles P. Eden's research with Clem Lack into the history of the Australian colonial and merchant navies from 1830-1953. The research was intended for publication but a publisher could not be finalised, so the manuscript (ML MSS 3018) and photographs were then lodged with the Mitchell Library for the use of future researchers
