These papers were found loose in a book, British flags: their early history, and their development at sea; with an account of the origin of the flag as a national device (Cambridge University Press, 1922) by W. G.Perrin. Bayldon's bookplate is pasted in, partially over the bookplate of Sir William Dixson.
