  • General note

    These papers were found loose in a book, British flags: their early history, and their development at sea; with an account of the origin of the flag as a national device (Cambridge University Press, 1922) by W. G.Perrin. Bayldon's bookplate is pasted in, partially over the bookplate of Sir William Dixson. The book is held in the Bayldon Nautical collection, Mitchell Library at number 680.
