  Untitled and undated, however Stevenson sat for a portrait in oils for Nerli in 1892 in Samoa, and this sketch was probably done at the same time.

  Transferred from DG 341.
  
  The National Portrait Gallery of Scotland holds one oil painting (PG 847) of Stevenson by Nerli, dated 1892, which is closely related this drawing, and one pastel drawing (PG 1361), also dated 1892, which is similar to this work.
