    Stuart Alexander Caird Campbell (1903-1988) was a distinguished Australian aviator. He was a member of two BANZARE (British, Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition) expeditions to Antarctica led by Douglas Mawson, 1929-30 and 1930-31. After working in London and serving in the RAAF during World War II, in 1947 he led the inaugural ANARE (Australian National Antarctic Research Expedition) expedition to Antarctica, establishing stations on Heard and Macquarie Islands.
