  • General note

    Re PXD 905/183-185
    An oil painting of Gilmore, by Eric Saunders, is held in the collection of Charles Sturt University. It was `done over' by Kate Beard, or possibly Baird, at a later date, and then cropped by a Mr Parker. Reputedly Gilmore hated this portrait.
    The original portrait was entered in the Archibald Painting Prize, Art Gallery of New South Wales.
